8 weeks / 2 months

Oh goodness. These past 2 months have flown by. Your personality has started to come out this week. You really enjoy sitting up (with help) and this week you have been throwing smiles out constantly which melts my heart. It makes it so much harder to start thinking about going back to work. We do need to work on more tummy time which you hate but we need to work on your arm and neck strength.

8 weeks / 2 months
You enjoy sitting up with assistance and honestly you would rather do that than lay down.
You love watching the Price is Right
You have been having the best week. You have been waking up with all smiles and have been in a really good mood (although I am sure I just jinxed myself)
You only wake up usually once a night, which is so nice.
You love to kick and play on your piano play mat.
You are not a fan of tummy time.
You love to listen and you can follow toys.
Molly is your favorite toy and you love the crunchy sounds. 

7 weeks

Adalyn's 7th week is coming to an end. We took her out for the first time and of course we went to our favorite breakfast place, Baby Stacks. We went with Ryan's sister Kailey, her fiance Alex, and Grandma Barb. Kailey and Grandma Barb entertained her since she was awake the entire time. I was so worried about taking her out and what would happen if she started to cry or got hungry but she was a champ and was happy through the entire trip. As soon as got home she was starving and took a nice long nap.

 I love to sit up!

This week Adalyn realized she loves to sit up on the couch.
She still loves watching the Price is Right and she rolled over from her back to her side. I also think she is up to 13lbs!

Happy Birthday Daphne!!

The 21st was Daphne's 7th birthday! Now I am not one of those people that plans a big shindig for their dogs but I did give her some extra treats and toys.     

Yes she needs to go to the groomer but she is happy. 

This is the aftermath of two toys from Daphne's celebration. I had already cleaned up once.  

I hope she had a great birthday and here's to at least 7 more!

6 weeks

Adalyn is 6 weeks old, which means there are only 6 more weeks till I go back to work. While I am sad to leave her I am excited to see some of my old friends. I wish I could work part time so I could have the best of both worlds.
